Episode 3 of A Time Like No Other features our executive producer, Scott Nurmela, playing the role of a Roman Soldier.

We used the crucifixion account in all four Gospels - combining the words and actions of several soldiers into one character for the monologue.  As the series goes this is an emotionally dark episode.  We did include reference to the centurion in Matthew, Mark, and Luke who exclaimed Jesus as the Son of God, acknowledging that it is possible, if not likely, that some who crucified Jesus may have come to faith.  The final line for each of our characters has its biggest impact with the Roman Soldier, as he is the one representing fallen humanity.  Indeed, because of Jesus' death and resurrection, there is hope for all of us.  

We had access to some audio files Pastor Steve produced years ago.  We chose to leave music off of this episode.
